Decorative Doors, Tables and Wall Sculptures 
My creations in wood are influenced by a million visions of this world; from the simplicity of Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural drawings to the complexity of a strand of silk. As a child I worked with my father refinishing antique furniture. I saw then the layers of beauty within a piece of wood. Later, I designed commercial art and mixed textile dyes professionally. All these experiences led me to develop Woodsongs, a unique blend of color, texture, and design in functional and ornamental wood items.
I specialize in one-of-a-kind pieces that complement perfectly a room or place of business. After developing a shared vision with the client, I select the perfect woods obtained from exotic locations around the world. Using very few modern tools, I employ classic woodworking techniques, such as halflap, spline and rabbet simple joints. I have perfected a method of finishing the pieces with my own formula which incorporates no additional colors or stains, allowing the natural hue of the wood to glow.
Woodsongs is a development of a unique sculptural panel that has a wide variety of uses; Wall sculptures, doors, cabinet doors, tables and other furniture, boxes, serving trays, etc.
