Woodsongs is redefining doorway treatment. It is creating an artistic way of addressing those openings we have between rooms and in front of closets.

"I made the first swinging doors off of my living room. It was a room that needed a visual barrier but not a solid door and I was tired of the same old hollow core or panel doors that are available."

When they were finished and hung, the visual impact they made (on both rooms) was tremendous. I had to show them to the public.

Since then the doors have been made in several designs ("Sparrow", "Grid", "Sidekick", Etc.) and placed in several parts of the home; between kitchen and dining room (or living room), bedroom and bath (or hallway), entry way, pantry and closets.

Different spaces can require different hardware. Some closets use sliding door hardware. Some use byfold hardware. These are available.

Some closet doors are better with a visual backing between design and interior of closet. This is available in the form of Mica.

Each set of doors for a home is a custom project. If you are considering them, like with custom tables, there are three things to consider.

1.) Dimensions. Exact size of the opening.

2.) Design. The half inch grid has been very popular but any wall sculpture or table design can easily be converted (like "Sparrow" for example)

3.) Wood Combination. Most custom projects have 2-6 woods playing off of each other and off other colors in the room.

Designs and Wood Combinations can be found on the website or better yet in my booth at a show. I enjoy getting to know my customers a little while going through the process with them.
